JVS CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CLIENTS’ 2025 IMPORTANT INFO
Whether you are new this year or a returning client.
This document will help you understand our service.
We want our lighting services to be a pleasurable experience.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS NEED TO KNOW
For the installation of the decorations
- A credit card is required to be on file to secure your installation date, future payments & because you are renting our materials.
- We will be taking pictures & videos of the project before, during and after installation for our records.
- You don’t need to be at your location the day of your installation unless we need to decorate inside, or you prefer to be there.
- If you live in a community: Please provide dates of the earliest installation day and take down dates or if we need a keycode please provide.
- All interior/exterior switches leave on esp. if they control outside outlets.
- MARK YOUR CALENDARS An email will be sent with your installation date Try not to lose your installation date because that could delay your installation by several weeks.
- Installs begin After Labor Day only on trees, outside commercial locations and then in Oct we begin residentials by geography to manage our install time as the daylight grows shorter, increasing fuel costs and in case of inclement weather. Your décor is up and ready and you can plug in the timer when you are feeling festive. We want to be sure you have your lights up without any delays and you enjoy the season especially This year Thanksgiving is the last Thursday of the month.
- Power is needed to outdoor outlets. We schedule time slots for your installation only to discover there is no power source or outlets are not working. We will need access to any locked gates if power is in back.
- If the install crew is turned away or canceling the day of your scheduled install. We will need to reschedule for a new install date return/restocking charge may apply.
After the installation
- Our Crew will set & test everything for you with our timers. Let us know the timer setting.
- 2,4,6,8 or Dusk to dawn are the time options with our photocell timers
- Please test the lights on for 1 or 2 nights after the installation.
- Do not wait to test/plug in and try the lights on Thanksgiving only to discover you require support.
- Any/all battery-operated materials: Turn the power switch on after Thanksgiving.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE DECORATION OUTAGES AND THE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

This is what you can do to save time & possible money.
You can check your GFI reset button.
CHECK TO SEE IF THE GFI TRIPPED
Push in the “Reset Button” on the outlet & power should be reset & restored.
Sometimes you need to push the test button then reset.
If it continues to “pop” please go online to our website for elf support(see below).
The presence of water or heavy moisture sometimes caused by rain, fog, dew, and sprinklers can cause the outlets to trip and interrupt power to décor or lighting.
We do take all precautions to secure water will not enter our products.
IF IT WAS NOT A GFI RESET
THE LIGHTS ARE STILL OUT/OR AND
MORE THAN 2 BULBS ARE NOT WORKING.

- Texting, chats & phone calls are NOT AVAILABLE for ANY support issues.
- Fill out the online support information on our dedicated page. Attach a pic of the reason for support when you fill the info online.
- This guarantees ALL requests for support are automatically scheduled 24/7.
ONLY online requests schedule a support visit to perform & to solve these issues.
The normal service time is within 24/48 hrs. with respect to the holidays below:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
No support service is available.
- After December 24 Warranty & Free support for the season is over.
We cannot be responsible for unreported outages that we
have never been made aware of through our elf support page.
Season Long Support & Christmas Warranty
FREE Seasonal Support*
All of our decorations supplied are warrantied for the Christmas season under
normal holiday seasonal usage.
• Christmas Warranty begins from date of our install to Dec 24
• Service/Support calls are included as part of our lease program.
• * There are some exceptions
WHAT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY?
Damage caused by human error, pets, rodents, deer, acts of G-d, theft or
vandalism, client added products voids this warranty
- Human Error – i.e., repair due to landscaper or snow plowing/blowing. Supply these companies with the whereabouts of our lighted projects so they are not piling snow on ground lights or damaging a cord during their visits Especially when they are blowing leaves.
- Animal damage Deer/squirrels may damage bulbs & cords.
- Act of G-d, Theft /Vandalism
- Décor outages Lights & products that are not supplied by JVS. Adding your lights to our system prevents our warranty.
- You may use your lights simply keep them separate not plugged into our timer, system, or outlet we are using.
- Reset GFI. Support call/visit to visit your location only to reset your GFI.
Take Downs/After the Christmas Season
- Removals will begin January 2nd (Weather allowing).
- If you want your lights removed by a certain date advise email us date by 9/1.
- When you are done feeling festive and do not want the lights to turn on after Three Kings Day, and/or we have not gotten to your takedown, please unplug
our timer.
Ways to $ave with JVS Christmas Lighting
- Adding new products during our annual Xmas in July sale.
- No cost for bulb color changes when made by June 1 annually.
- Early renewals are available.
- Referrals that become clients.
- Bistro/Patio/Party/Graduation or other holidays throughout the year.
